連載第34回に選んだのは、先日のLung Cancer誌から「Association of baseline peripheral-blood eosinophil count with immune checkpoint inhibitor-related pneumonitis and clinical outcomes in patients with non-small cell lung cancer receiving immune checkpoint inhibitors」です。現在、肺がん領域においても免疫チェックポイント阻害薬（ICI）による治療が幅広く行われていますが、治療に関連する有害事象（irAE）には十分注意しながら投与する必要があります。特に、治療に関連する間質性肺臓炎は重篤化する可能性もあるので慎重に管理しなければなりません。
